Admission into Jubilee

Jubilee’s special program

The Jubilee School has developed - with the cooperation of the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education - an objective, multi criteria system for the selection and admission of competent and capable students into its special program. Each year, students from grades eight and nine are accepted into the school into grades nine and ten. The criteria for this choice is based on:

A-Level/IGCSEIn 2009, Jubilee introduced the British International Certificate of Education - A-Level / IGCSE - as an additional program to be offered at the School in grades 9, 10 & 11. Candidates have to sit for an aptitude test, and an English proficiency test. Accepted students study the set curricula for A-Level / IGCSE, in addition to the programs and activities of the national curricula. No full or partial scholarships are offered to these students.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is for students aged 16-19In compliance with The Jubilee School's philosophy which aims to cater to the many needs and ambitions of gifted students; the school sought the authorization to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma program (IBDP) as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The programme is taught over two years and has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities.
The program aligns perfectly with The Jubilee School’s aspirations for the 21st century learner. It is recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of education, and receives an equivalency to the Jordanian Tawjihi in either the Scientific or the Arts streams. It is also accepted in all Jordanian Universities.
Through the IBDP, the school will be able to develop students who:

The Program welcomes students from within the school and outside that meet the academic standards of the school to join the program which starts normally from grade 11.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

The School Scholarship Fund provides partial or full scholarships for about 96% of our regular students. The full scholarships cover the annual school fees, but not the registration or graduation costs, nor transport, books or uniform expenses, including the summer orientation. The scholarship amount depends on the financial situation of the student, and requires the student’s consistently high academic achievement to continue.

Summer Orientation Program

During summer, the School organizes an orientation summer camp program for new students accepted into the regular grades of 9 and 10 at Jubilee. The program aims to prepare new students for Jubilee by supporting certain academic subjects such as math, English and computer, in addition to other activities and entertainment. The summer camp affords students the opportunity to get acquainted with each other and with the school climate and environment prior to the start of the school year. Students from the distant governorates are fully accommodated in the dorms during their stay.
