International Computer Fair and Seminar (COFAS)/India

COFAS is held every other year by CMS School in Lucknow, India. This International Computer Olympiad is an effort to further the field of IT amongst young adults from many countries. It helps them to evaluate their own strength on an international level and build global relationships. COFAS includes competitions and seminars in programming, electronic & web design, innovation & technology. Our team competed with 60 teams from India and other countries.

International Physics Olympiad (IPHO): My Creativity Is the Secret of My Success

The IPHO Olympiad is an international competition (started in Poland in 1967) in which high school students from 85 countries worldwide participate. It covers most subjects in basic physics studied by high-schoolers, and is intended to develop and improve methods of teaching physics, by analyzing the results of each team competing. It sets both theoretical and practical questions in the various fields of physics for students. This year, the 46th Olympiad was held in Bombay, India, between 5 and 12 July, 2015.

International Competition for Science Mathematics Mental Ability & Electronics ( QUANTA)

The school Has been participating since 1998 in QUANTA, an internationally recognized
competition in Science, Mathematics, Astronomy, Mental Ability and Electronics annually organized by City Montessori School in Lucknow, India, where student teams from all over the world compete. The competition includes quizzes and contests in math, science, debate, etc.. all judged by experts in the relevant fields. Jubilee teams acquire distinguished results and receive competition awards every year. During their stay, teams participate in cultural, atheletic and recreational activities. They also visit tourist attractions including Taj Mahal and India’s capital New Delhi.

International Science & Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF)

Since 2006, our students have been participating and achieving outstanding results in the annual International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) at the local, Arab and international levels. Intel ISEF is a competition that measures students’ abilities to tackle challenging scientific questions, use authentic research practices, and create solutions for the problems of tomorrow. In Intel ISEF, over 7 million students from 60 countries around the globe compete in local and regional competitions. Only 1600 winners qualify to compete in the Intel ISEF final competition in the USA.

Education, Science, Energy Exhibition Doesef / Turkey

A group of Jubilee students participated in an exhibit with their grade 11 graduation projects. The exhibition included competitions and activities with winning places awarded to students.

MILSET

Jubilee participated in the 3rd Asian Scientific conference, MILSET (International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology), held in Jordan this year. MILSET is a non-governmental, non-profit and politically independent youth organization, which aims at developing scientific culture among young people through the organization of science-and-technology programs and activities. 200 students between 9 and 25 years of age from all over the world participated, exhibiting 65 of their creative scientific work in the domains of energy, environment, computer, technology, robotics, chemistry, geology and engineering.

The 2nd International Young Inventors Award

Jubilee students participated in the 2nd Indonesian Invention and Innovation> Promotion Association Award (INNOPA) from 6-9 June, 2015, in Jakarta. Our students collected: three Gold Medals and the Grand Prize, plus a scholarship from Ciputra University, one Silver Medal, one Bronze, and the Best Commercialization Award, while our accompanying teacher was among the judges.

Youth Exchange & Study Program (Yes)

This program is organized annually in coordination with the AMIDEAST office in Jordan. It is a competitive program among highschool students from all over Jordan, with the view of giving the successful students the opportunity to spend a scholastic year studying in the USA during grade 10 of schooling. Students go to live with American families and enroll at specified schools there, only to return after a year and continue their education in Jordan.
