Admission Guide

Admission into Jubilee

Jubilee’s special program

The Jubilee School has developed - with the cooperation of the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education - an objective, multi criteria system for the selection and admission of competent and capable students into its special program. Each year, students from grades eight and nine are accepted into the school into grades nine and ten. The criteria for this choice is based on:

  • Outstanding academic achievement over the last five semesters, since academic achievement is a strong indicator of the child’s motivation and readiness to learn
  • Passing the Jubilee Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) which measures mathematical, verbal, and logical abilities.
  • Demonstration of leadership potential and positive characteristics (such as inquisitiveness, love of learning, creative abilities, and verbal fluency…), based on a personal interview.

A-Level/IGCSE

In 2009, Jubilee introduced the British International Certificate of Education - A-Level / IGCSE - as an additional program to be offered at the School in grades 9, 10 & 11. Candidates have to sit for an aptitude test, and an English proficiency test. Accepted students study the set curricula for A-Level / IGCSE, in addition to the programs and activities of the national curricula. No full or partial scholarships are offered to these students.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is for students aged 16-19
